For quick calculation we consider they are 22 million today.

Now assume every one of them had created some assets their as home, vehicle other sundry apart from some stock, funds and bank balance.

Considering there is no frenzy to sell their assets (not in a Distressed sale) they comfortably sale their assets and convert them into gold slowly in approximately three years of period.

Considering value of these entire if sold and converted to gold; average Overseas Indian could bring approximately just three kilogram of gold.

If we think hypothetically that everyone have zero assets; convertible to gold today. But considering present global wage trend; they even can earn “three kilogram gold” in this period itself. (Average of next three year)

Considering fifty-fifty chance of above two scenarios and average of all NRI (some are CEOs of global MNCs while most may be average earners.)

The day this happen India will become number one power of the world.

Global currency will be governed by the Indian currency.

The country become so much so self reliant that India's economy reach on 1 dollar 1 rupee.
